Yup. He flops on the bed with the grace of a hippo right next to Yves. He buries his face into the mattress for a bit before looking up and sighing, resting his head on his arms. He's lying down on his stomach. ]

About the redemption project... I don't know what criteria this god has for us, but I sinned a lot when I got here.

[ adolphe you’re so cute… yves laughs and helps arrange the pillow better for adolphe. he turns so that he’s on his side, reaching out to run his fingers through adolphe’s hair idly ]

I think you can write a letter to ask about it if you’re worried. I don’t think I’ve been perfect either. I’ve gotten greedier, I think.

… but well, it’ll be okay. You don’t have to do this for me… but if you need some extra time to be redeemed, I’ll wait for you. Or I’ll just ask to go where you go anyway.

You really don't feel like going with anyone else?

[ The pillow is nice and so is Yves's hand going through his hair. Mmm... he finds himself relaxing a little. ]

Doesn't Claude have his own goals and things to do?

Yeah, but that's part of why I'm worried about him.

He's a noble, so I don't expect to get caught up in all his affairs... but I do think we could get enough help to get settled somewhere in the country and figure ourselves out.

I'd like to help him where I can, but... well, that can come after learning a new country.

[ A noble, huh. Adolphe cracks a smile for a different reason. ]

Adolphe goes quiet at that. All he remembers is being miserable, and he's not sure if he wants to subject an even worse side of humanity to Yves. ]

So did you want to primarily help Claude with his situation there?

But I want a place where we can adapt and grow old together even more than that.

[ Adolphe thinks Yves is talking about growing old with just Claude, so he's like. Hm. His hair is being played with, but his thoughts are too preoccupied by how terrible his early childhood was.

I would want to make sure to repay him but I’m sure if I ask nicely we can at least get help…
