He's a noble, so I don't expect to get caught up in all his affairs... but I do think we could get enough help to get settled somewhere in the country and figure ourselves out.

I'd like to help him where I can, but... well, that can come after learning a new country.

Adolphe goes quiet at that. All he remembers is being miserable, and he's not sure if he wants to subject an even worse side of humanity to Yves. ]

So did you want to primarily help Claude with his situation there?

But I want a place where we can adapt and grow old together even more than that.

[ Adolphe thinks Yves is talking about growing old with just Claude, so he's like. Hm. His hair is being played with, but his thoughts are too preoccupied by how terrible his early childhood was.

… there’s a lot of wars in different places, from what I can tell. I’ve asked for a few different options, but other people have advised me against their worlds, even if they’d love to have us otherwise.
