[ Cracking jokes to survive in this farce of a heaven is very valid. He'll take what Lucas says at face value though, since he's not interested in gossip. If Lucas is happy from the love and kindness from elsewhere, then that is fine. ]

Good to hear. And... you joke about that, but I keep thinking certain things in a marriage context, because that's all he's been talking about for weeks. It was so bad that I thought Jacopo was proposing to me instead.
