it makes no promises for the current moment—because yves is so capable of modifying his own emotions, yes, but he’s not fully capable of doing so surrounding his feelings of love. even still. he does want to give his whole heart to adolphe even if he’d never ask the same in return. but it’ll be a work in progress that’ll only start after they leave.
