but he is getting a little distracted and he can spend forever telling adolphe how much he loves him

The horses on the other side don't respond to your name, but I thought we could go there since they're actually not afraid of me. This might be the only time I can actually go horseback riding with you.

Besides that... A walk in the garden? Covering you in corgis? A dance out on the balcony in the ballroom? I really did miss you during that party.

I have plenty of ideas, but I'd like to do anything as long as it's with you.

[ Friday is death announcement, Saturday is trial, and Sunday is execution... Adolphe will definitely skip execution no matter who it is now. ]

... can we go on Saturday evening...? Knowing that we'll all be coming back the next week means I probably won't be too down...

[ like he'll probably be fairly affected depending on who it is but

he really does want to go on their date ]

[ He wonders if they will be there when it's dark or when the sun sets... well, no matter. He'll think of something eventually regardless. ]

I don't really like watching those things...

Do you want to skip it? I can just go with you and get updates after.

I'll probably skip it. You don't have to if you don't want to though.

[ He's still going to make food and then leave. ]

[ yves knows he's feeling pretty needy after weeks of separation, and that works for him as a deeply lonely and social person but adolphe does like his privacy. they literally live together now so he can have space if he wants it... ]

[ We can end this on a sweet note, so Adolphe pulls Yves close to him to give him a cheek kiss bordering on the burn scar. ]

[ WE CAN CLOSE THIS IN A SECOND this is just... a cg unlock moment... so yves does react very obviously to it, first with surprise and then just expression melting into the softest, warmest happiness. his fondness radiates even without emotionshare and he just tucks himself entirely against adolphe, arms slipping around him to hold close. he's willing to let go and will get less clingy over time, but

right now he is so obviously and terribly enamored ]

... I really do love you so much. I'll spend the rest of my life and afterlife trying to make you just as happy as you make me.

You already make me happy.

[ Even if that's with a whole bunch of other things, but Adolphe supposes that this is normal. No relationship can be without ups or downs. It's just a matter of handling them well.

... he's been reading "for dummies" books on love and care lately like how teenagers used to read Seventeen magazines. This is just purely for ooc knowledge. ]

But I know we have a long life ahead of us both [ such an amazing thing to say, when yves has been cured enough to live past 23 years and adolphe was always going to ] so I suppose I can space it out.
