This continues to be so fucking funny though. Lucas would love nothing more than to kill Scien Brofiise, and Adolphe can feel the whip-like flash of viperous, gleeful violence as Lucas considers the future in which he can freely tear into Scien. Y'know, as a lil treat that he does not want. At least it doesn't last very long, and nothing about his demeanor changes.]

While Adolphe isn't surprised by the violent feelings, he's a little alarmed by its intensity. If his demeanor changed, he would have been even more surprised. His Bourreau alter identity... gaslighting nun larper... dangerous ]

Certainly. I said that I wouldn't kill him until an alternate method of curing the curse came along. There were already options under development, but I'm more certain now than ever that we'll be able to find a way without depending on him and his technology.

[If someone creates worldhopping Lucas is going to venture out to find someone who can DEAL WITH THE CURSE but as things are, he can already text so many smart people to be like please help. When all else fails, there's the research that Capucine's been working on for ages, too.]

The hospital that cares for Nadia has been searching for a method for some time, now... And beyond that, we now have an entire wealth of knowledge available to us that extends far outside the boundaries of our own island. I believe that if we can't find the answer within our own shores, it's out there somewhere regardless.
