[ There's just... dread coming off in waves right now. ]

[ Adolphe starts turning a little pale. ]

... It won't mean that it's upside down and would fall any moment, right...

[ looks up at the sky... i'm not sure where they are rn but presumably there's no ocean up there at least ]

I dunno, but... can probably just stay out of that beach area if you're worried about it, yeah? Place is proper miserable now anyway, not much to go there for.

[ There's a reflective surface somewhere and Del can suddenly see countless of situations where Adolphe nearly drowned. It's definitely more than once. And not less than ten. Even his own form suddenly turns into a black void but is replaced by the moving image of a roaring ocean just briefly. He's back to normal now. ]

Er. Have you considered not livin' on an island...?

Oh. Yeah. I definitely considered that. I would have left when I could, but the waters that surround the island make it impossible to leave.
